Would you like to be involved in a local mission project, to help feed hungry kids & seniors? COME & SERVE with our Chapel Hill volunteer group at the Regional Food Bank of OK!
 
Our next date is THURSDAY, AUGUST 17. We will leave the parking lot in the church vans at 12:45 and return by 4:30.

Summer is winding down and we are beginning to prepare for this year!

Just like in years past, we will have our tutor-only meeting on the first Tuesday after Labor Day, September 5th at 3:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The first day with children will be September 12th. OKCPS starts classes on 8/10 so by waiting until September, we hope to have a full group signed up.

Beginning September 6, this six-week Bible/DVD study through the Beatitudes examines the promise of blessedness in Christ’s Sermon on the Mount. Blessedness is eternal and grounded in the reality of Christ in you. Author: Jennifer Dean.
  • You can live in the state of blessedness that God has created for you when you discover the key to true holiness—a call to freedom and joy.
  • We were made for holiness, and this core concept of the Beatitudes is accessed through a praying life—a life lived in the present-tense power of God.
  • It is only when we continually pursue holiness that blessedness comes, and we discover the power and fulfillment of the promise of God.
